PTA Meeting
Plan to join us for the next PTA meeting on February 15th at 7:00 pm. We will be
discussing the remaining three fundraisers. In addition, we want to hear from you. Faculty
will be leading break out sessions for parents to give their opinion on topics ranging from
school uniform, extra-curricular activities for the younger students, athletics, discipline, and
PTA events.
*~*~*~ PTA General Meeting Dates ~*~*~*
The dates for the 2011-2012 school year are: SEPTEMBER 19th, NOVEMBER 9th, FEBRUARY 15th and JUNE 11th. These dates have been listed on the school calendar. This year the PTA will be offering an incentive to all parents and/ or guardians attending all 4 PTA General Meetings. If a parent or guardian attends all 4 meetings the family name will be entered into a drawing to win $1000 off of next year's tuition.
Child care will be available.

Year Round Fundraising
MTRS participates in several programs year-round to help raise money for the school.
These programs are at no cost to you and require little effort, but your participation in them has the potential to contribute a lot to our school.
We are able to purchase items for the school with these programs.

Campbell’s Soup labels

General Mills box tops
Please be sure that your box top is clipped along the lines and has not expired. The school receives cash twice a year for all of the box tops returned. Join the Big Clip online and shop through box tops at such places as Oriental Trading to help the school receive more credit. http://www.boxtops4education.com/
Capri Sun Containers

Used ink cartridges
Any type of ink cartridge may be turned into the office. The school receives money for each ink cartridge.

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteer Hours Letter
The MTRS PTA is vital to the school in so many ways. Obviously financially, with our fundraisers and family events but more importantly is the camaraderie and sense of purpose shared by parents and staff. A wonderful bonus is fun and friendships that come along with the effort. There is a family minimum requirement of 12 volunteer hours. There are a multitude of events and activities that can help you achieve that goal. The PTA exists under the by-laws of the Diocese of Trenton. All families of Mother Teresa Regional School are part of the PTA as are all members of the faculty.
