Notes and Messages:

3.27.14: -- The Kindergarten students have used all of their glue sticks. Please send your child in with a pack of glue sticks. We have also used all of our donated tissues. With spring allergy season approaching, please consider sending in a box of tissues for our classroom. Thank you! 

2.10.14: -- Kindergarten will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday. Students may begin bringing in their Valentine cards for the classroom mailbox. Also, if the weather cooperates, we will be celebrating our 100th day of school on Tuesday the 18th. Please check your child's folder for instructions on the 100 item collection.  

1.27.14: -- MTRS will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week all week long. There are many activities planned so be sure to check the HSC for information. Looking forward to a fun filled week. 

1.2.14: -- Kindergarten will be  having a special Show and Tell on Friday. January 3rd. Kindergarten Students are asked to bring in one of their favorite Christmas Presents.Thank you!

12.9.13: -- The students will be Christmas Shopping at Santa's Secret Shop on Tuesday. Please remember to send in your child's shopping list and money. 

11.3.13:-- The children are really enjoying our mystery reader guests. A reminder, if you signed up to be a mystery reader, please remember to send me your clues prior to your visit. Thank you! 

10.27.13:-- This will be a busy fun-filled week.Here are a few reminders: 

  • Tuesday and Wednesday:   Halloween Bake Sale sponsored by the Drama Club. All items will cost $1 and under.
  • Thursday: For $1 children can dress down in orange and black. The Annual Mission Carnival will be also be held on Halloween. Please send in quarters in a ziplock bag labeled with your child’s name. There are approximately 15 different games all money collected will be donated to the Missions.  
  • Friday: Kindergarten Boys -- please remember to wear your tie to All Saints Day mass.


10.14.13 -- A reminder, conferences will be held this Thursday and Friday. Appointments can be scheduled at http://www.mtregional.com/images/uploads/Parent_conf_request_2013.pdf.

9.30.13 -- School photos will be taken on Wednesday, October 2nd. Students should not come into school in the gym uniform, instead they must wear their complete MTRS uniform. 

9.23.13 -- Today, your child is coming home with sight words. Please practice these words with your child each evening. Please keep these sight words in your child’s word wallet. Students will be using their word wallets in class each day, so please send them back to school with your child each day. Thank you for all of your cooperation. We are off to a wonderful Kindergarten year!

9.9.13 -- If you have not already purchased the Kindergarten Homework Planner, please send in $4 as soon as possible.

9.2.13 -- Students should come to school dressed in their gym uniform on gym day, Wednesday.

9.1.13 -- Please send in a change of clothes (not necessarily a MTRS uniform) labeled with your child's name.

Mrs. Michele Leite has a dedication to Catholic Education and joins Mother Teresa Regional School as a long time teacher in the Diocese of Trenton. Mrs. Leite was also educated in the Diocese of Trenton and is a graduate of Georgian Court University. She is a K-8 Certified Elementary School Teacher in the State of New Jersey, and a Roman Catholic Catechist.
