February 4th

The van left the house at 2:05 am this morning heading to Indianapolis.  The van had been decorated with Flat Stanley and the "All In" towel.  Packing was easy since we simply packed Giants gear.  We arrived in Indy at 2pm after traveling through snow in Ohio.  We headed to the NFL experience at the convention center and were treated to a great time. We were able to enjoy the pepsi max experience. I came in first in all of the competitions which included throwing a football, dressing in a uniform, and delivering the two Pepsi Max.  We also were able to get our picture taken with Brandon Jacobs through the magic of the green screen.  You may have seen us on the NFL Direct Network or ESPN as we were in the crowds outside the taping of those talk shows.  Aunt Jane and Uncle Don had a Super Bowl cake for us for dessert. Tomorrow we will head back into Super Bowl village.

Check out a quick clip of our day.

February 5th- Today is Super Bowl Sunday.  We headed to Super Bowl Village in the morning on a clear sunny day. Indianapolis had plenty for us to do outside. We could play corn hole or ladder ball. There was even a place to play curling. You could play football on an artificial field.  We walked around and saw the ice sculptures that were being made by the food network guys.  Flat Stanely met a friend from Nashville there.  We also got a picture of Flat Stanely with Willie McGinnist but the crowd around wasn't happy so we moved out quickly.  Then we went to race cars that were set up with the NY logo and the Super Bowl logo. Those were cool. As you know Indianapolis is the home of the Indy 500.  We also went to the downtown Marriot where the Giants were staying and watched as they got on the bus. We were across the street in a parking garage cheering on Big Blue. Just as we went to Stub Hub to see was it possible to get tickets, my phone rang.  It was a call letting me know that someone had an extra ticket for me. Boys and girls I was stunned.  But I believed that God loved me and so I knew that if it was meant to be, I would go to the Super Bowl. So I did.  We walked over to the stadium where tons of people were walking in. Then Terena, the Fan Services person, helped me to get the ticket since it was already inside the stadium.  It was a lot of God's love.  My phone was dying, I couldn't get in and the ticket couldn't get out but it all worked out and suddenly I was inside Lucas Oil Stadium.  I was overwhelmed and started to cry but then I reminded myself there was no crying in football so I pulled myself together and sat in my seat. I didn't breathe for the first ten minutes.  It was so exciting to be there and to watch the Giants win.  Thank you to all of you who prayed that I would get to go.
